MindTech Montessori Schools curriculum emphasizes a balanced approach to the academic, social, emotional and physical development of a child. It is structured to build a child's skills and habits while including space and opportunities for children to explore areas of knowledge that are of interest to them. Respect for children, the ordered, child-sized environment, multi-age groupings and the role of the teacher as guide are the underpinnings of MindTech's rigorous and caring curriculum. The Montessori materials found in every classroom are designed to invite children's inquiry and develop their understanding of the essential skills and concepts necessary to become successful lifelong learners. Authentic assessment takes place in the form of progress folios that follow each student through their years at MindTech. All of these components, along with the personalized instruction that our small class size affords, enable MindTech to provide an outstanding educational experience.
MindTech offers an educational program for children aged 3 months through sixth grade. Four distinct programs, separated by age levels but united in philosophy, are as follows:
Infant/Toddler Program (3 months to 2.5 years old)
Casa Montessori Program (2.5 to 6 years old)
The Lower Elementary School (Grades 1 to 4)
The Upper Elementary School (Grades 5 to 8)
All classes are led by a superb and committed faculty and staff. Each class of approximately 16 - 24 students has a lead teacher and one or two assisting teachers.
Classes vary in length, depending on the age of the student. Toddler students are enrolled on a 12 month basis for the morning or afternoon session for at least three days a week. Primary students attend school five days a week for either full-time, or mornings or afternoon sessions. Junior and Senior Elementary students attend school from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. Before school and after school child care programs are available at additional cost for all our students.
MindTech offers a summer camp to students aged 18 months through sixth grade. This is a separate program from our academic school year program. Please call the school visit or summer camp link on this website for full details or an application form.
All admission inquiries are welcome. We also strongly encourage you to come visit and observe the children and teachers in their classroom environment. Please call any one of our three locations to schedule a campus visit or for more information.
